TOP DRESSING        

         Top dressing is an application of a bulky material to the surface of the turf. This material is usually a mixture of good-quality soil, sand and a source of humus.

 The reason to use top dressing;

    * Helps with the health of the lawn.
    * Grass growth is denser - the formation of new shoots is stimulated and the layor of top dressing promotes the development of runners.
    * Minor hollows are removed so that a truer surface is obtained.
    * The soil surface is gradually built up - thatch tends to decompose in this layer and drought resistance is improved.
    * Drainage in heavy soil is improved, especially if hollow tyne aeration is carried out as a pre-treatment.

 

 

 

 

 

Moss Control           

          Our mosskiller Concentrate is a unique high performance liquid mosskiller containing stabilised concentrated iron salts created specifically to control moss in professional and amenity turf.

          This is a much higher quolity product to directly kill the moss then you would need to scarified to remove the dead moss.

          We apply this to lawns to kill the moss.
